Southern-Finland Spanielclub. Our local spanielclub had their annual pre-christmas party and they also wanted to remember dogs that did very well in shows this year. Our little German girl Tequila - Tequila Sunrise vom Springer-Clan had a nice Puppy of the Year trophy!! Also Nancy - Ocean Pitfal Eilidh Light was awarded on her success during 2008. She got a Youth dog trophy. Thank you Heidi and Tuula for such a nice company in the party! Next year again ... :)

We got confirmation from FCI that Nasu - Dirlian Officially Olgan is now officially International Beauty Champion. Nasu is turning 8 years on January and starts competing in veteran class. It has been nice time showing her and hopefully we still have many years together. :) She can now call herself INT& FIN & NOR & EST & RUS & LTU & LV & BALT & BLR CH Dirlian Officially Olga. :)

Health results. Lucy - Op. Damhnait Fawn, Stella - Op. Enid Spirit, Viivi - Op. Fenella Fair and Pablo - Op. Finn Mac Cumail were all eye tested today. All 4 of them has clear eyes of PRA/HC/RD. Also they and Paavo - Op. Efflam Flame were x-rayed for hips. All had healthy hips. Stella, Viivi and Pablo has best possible A hips and Paavo has B/A hips. :)

Jaalan show. Judge Raija Tammelin, Fin. First G-puppies were showed. :) Osku - Op. Grant Great came third in male puppies and her sister Lisa - Op. Galena Calm was nicely 1 HP and BOB-puppy. In adults Pablo - Op. Finn Mac Cumail won juniorclass males and his dam Fiona - Op. Canaid Song came second in Working class and in Best Bitch class and got another resCC. We would still need that one CC to gane her Champion title. :)) Huge thank you goes to Jan who took a lot of photos as news without photos is quite boring! :)

Lahti show. English springers judged by breed specialist Harri Lehkonen, Fin. Lucy - Op. Damhnait Fawn and Fiona - Op. Canaid Song did both quite well. Lucy came second in Champion class and went finally Best Bitch2. Fiona won Working class with excellent and went as Best Bitch4, she also recieved resCC. Last CC for her Champion title was SO close, but there will be new shows. :) Congratulations for Fiona's and Lucy's owners.

Baltic trip. On Friday me and Lea started long weekend show trip with; Brutus - Ch Op. Baeddan Boar, Nancy - Op. Eilidh Light, Stella - Op. Enid Spirit and Sointu Ch A. Flash. On Saturday we had show in Valmiera Latvia. Springers were judged by Hannele Jokisilta from Finland. Brutus; Champion class Exl1, Best male, CC = Lv Ch and finally he was chosen as BOS. BOB was his daughter Nancy. Nancy; Junior class Exl1, junCC, Best bitch, BOB and on group Hannele Jokisilta placed her GROUP2. :) Stella; Intermediate class Exl1, Best bitch 3 and Sointu; Champion class Exl1, Best bitch2, CC = Lv Ch.

After Latvia we drove to Lithuania and entered show in Siauliai. In Lithuania pringers were judged by Galina Strelkova from Belarus. Brutus; Champion class Exl1, Best male, CC = Ltu Ch & Balt Ch, Nancy; Junior class Exl1, junCC, Bobjun. Besides that Nancy was chosen among 10 best juniors in Bis-junior competition but did not reached to the final 3. She also got 5 new titles; Ltu, Lv, Est, Balt & Rus JCh. Stella; Intermediate class Very Good 1 and this time Bob went to Sointu. :) Sointu; Champion class Exl1 CC = Ltu & Balt Ch Bob and she was also chosed second in Group. :) Thank you Lea for your fantastic travel company, we should do this again. ;)

G-puppy meeting. My 6 month old G-puppies got together on this lovely Autumn day. I am so happy that 6 out of 7 puppies could come. Also Heidi and Hannu came with mommy Solina to meet her fast growing offspring. :) We did some trimming and of course puppies played many hours together so it was very tired bunch in the evening. :) It was a very nice day and I would like to send huge thank you's to everyone. We also took a really nice family potret. :)

Working ability test. Me and Lucy - Op. Damhnait Fawn had a nice day at the Working Ability test held in Elimäki. Our judge were Marjatta Jaakkola, Fin. Lucy did nice job and past this test quite easily. With her Approved test result she gain her FINNISH SHOW CHAMPION title FIN CH. We are more than proud. Congratulations goes also for Tiina and Philippe who are Lucy's co-owners and has taken such a good care of our spoiled princess. :)

Luumäki show. Judge Elena Ruskovaara, Fin. Our import duo Winston - T. Thrill Seeker and Tequila - Tequila Sunrise vom S-C made their last entry in the puppy class. Winston was again BOB and Tequila as a BOS-puppy. :) Also I had entered Nancy - Op. Eilidh Light, she competed first time in intermediate class. She had a really nice result: 1st of her class with Excellent, she won Best Bitch class and got also her 4th CC (Has been in 7 shows in Finland) finally she went BOS. Nancy will now have a little show brake from Finnish shows. :)

Working ability test. Eija and Pablo - Op. Finn Mac Cumail had a great day in Spaniel Working ability test. Test was held in Elimäki and judge was Harry Vilkman, Fin. Pablo past all sectors of the test with a nice reviews. He was also the best dog in the test and had the honour to recieve the prize of Captain Edmund Natunen for one year. Lahti puppyshow. Judge Kristiina Niemelä, Fin. We had entered Winston - T. Thrill Seeker and Tequila - Tequila Sunrise vom Springer-Clan. Both of the dogs had entered class of 7 to 9 month old. Winston won his class and was chosen as Best of Breed puppy. Also Tequila won her class and went Best of Opposite Sex. In this show Brutus daughter Papu - Last Flurry's Bandon Banshee made her debyt in class of 5 to 7 month. She did great with a nice result first of her class, Honour Price and Best Bitch 2 - puppy. :)

Vilnius Summer, Baltic Winner 2008. Very early (4.30 am :) on Thursday morning me, my sister Satu and Lea started driving to Vilnius, Lithuania. There were 2 x Cacib shows, second show was also Baltic Winner - 08 title show. We had entered these fourlegs: :) Brutus - Op. Baeddan Boar, Nancy - Op. Eilidh Light, Tequila - Tequila Sunrise vom S-C, Sointu - A. Flash and our welsh girl Tuuli - D. True Princess. Also we met Pekka, Eija and Emilia with Pablo - Op. Finn Mac Cumail on the showground. :)

On Friday it was Vilnius Summer show. Springers were judged by Rita Kadike-Skadina, Latvia. These are our results: Brutus came second in his class with excellent. Sointu won her class and got Class win CC. Nancy and Pablo got both Lithuanian Junior CC's. Pablo was also chosen as Bob-junior. Tequila went Bob-puppy and at the end of the day she was placed Best in Show 2 puppy under Dianne Besoff from Australia. :) Tuuli has already been judged by this judge so we weren't waiting any other than Very Good which she also got. :) She was again too narrow and thin for this judge. :)

On Saturday was the Baltic Winner Show and the main reason why we travelled to Lithuania. Springers were judged by Kirsi Nieminen, Finland. Brutus got the same result than day before. Sointu got excellent, class win CC and resCACIB. Judge told us that it was a very close call that she would had been Baltic Winner. She should've been a little bit thinner. :) Nancy and Pablo got both again junior CC's, but this time Nancy was chosed as Bob junior. Also both of them got Baltic Junior Winner 2008 titles! :) Tequila was again Bob-puppy. Tequila has started her shows with a great style. 4 shows and everytime Bob-puppy and on the top of the cake 1 x Best in Show, 2 x Best in show 2 puppy. One Best in Show 2 win was from our Springerspaniel main show. :) This time also Tuuli did better than day before. She went CACIB, CC, BOB and Baltic Winner 2008!!! :))) Thanks for everyone for the really nice company on showdays and special thank yous goes to Lea and Satu who was such a great travel company. We laughed so much that we should live at least 100 year olds!! ;) :)))

Annual Mikkeli All breed show . Judge Suncica Lazic, Serbia. 3 juniorclass aged dogs from my F-litter were entered and also Lucy - Op. Damhnait Fawn. Our results: Pablo - Op. Finn Mac Cumail Jun Excellent 2. Madonna - Op. Fearchara Dear and Oona - Op. Floraidh Flower who were both first time showed got Excellent in a big juniorclass where Madonna were placed 3 rd and Oona 4 th. Lucy was placed as Open Excellent 1 Best Bitch and BOS. I also showed my breeders class which were 1 HP Bob-breeders class. Big thanks Eija, Tiia and Leena for entering and also showing your dogs in Breeders class. It was a very nice day. Sointu is a Champion. My Estonian import bitch and dam for my E-litter Sointu - A. Flash entered in Järvenpää show which were judged by Markku Santamäki, Fin. Sointu got nice result Working Exl1 Bb2 CC. This CC made her also Finnish Show Champion and she can now add 3 titles in front of her name Fin, Blr, Est Ch Alfalex Flash! Congratulations Lea and also Riin Remma Sointu's breeder. A-litter 5 year old. Today came 5 years exactly when Vilma - H. Jodie Foster gave birth to Ocean Pitfal A-litter. Sire for this litter were an older gentleman Pumba - Int Ch Marmade Classic Man. This is her fifth CC and last one needed for her Finnish Show Champion title. Kennel clubs friendship dogs. Vilma - Hightide's Jodie Foster was awarded today a medal for her duty as our kennel clubs friendship dog. Vilma and some other dogs in Kotka and Hamina has been visiting oldpeople homes, schools, daycares and disabled people since 2005. The idea is to give a joy of a dog for those who can't have a dog of their own. :)

Springerspaniel main show. For the first time our annual springerspaniel spacialty show was also our main show. English springers were judged by Mr. Glenn Miller, knl Graftonbury, Uk.

4.30 am after only couple hours of sleep me and Heidi (knl Wishingspring's) started our long drive to the show ground. I had entered Tequila - Tequila Sunrise vom S-C, Nancy - Op. Eilidh Light and Brutus - Op. Baeddan Boar. Also Fiona - Op. Canaid Song and my Tuuli welsh - D. True Princess were entered.

I had desided earlier not to enter Tequila, but changed my mind on a last minute. I thought at least it's going to be practise. :)) She was entered in bitch puppies 5 to 7 month. Altogether 18 puppies entered, 6 in Tequila's class.

Tequila won her class with HP. She also won Best Bitch puppy class and was chosen as Best of Breed puppy. At the end of the day she went Best in Show 2 puppy!! :) I'm glad I entered her after all. :))

Super young bitch, just my type, very feminine head, correct eye shape & darkening nicely, correct neck, lovely shoulder placement, correct depth of chest, level topline, correct tailset & carriage, nicely angulated rear quarters, moved as a springer should move, shown & presented very well.

Our days other "star" was my 12 month old Nancy. Nancy entered in junior class among 14 other bitches. In her class only 3 dogs got excellent. Nancy's result Exl 1 Best Bitch3, she also got her 3rd CC (this was her fifth show in Finland). Nancy was also chosed Best of Breed junior and Best in Show junior! :)

Very sweet feminine head, correct eyeshape & darkening nicely, correct ear shape, excellent arched neck, very good shoulder plades, correct amount of bone, neat feet, good depth of chest, level topline, correct tailset & carriage, very well angulated rear quarters, moved precisely with drive, showing in lovely condition, very well presented.

Brutus got Vg in Champion class. Fiona was entered in Open Class which was the biggest class of the day (16 bitches). Only class winner got Excellent. We were very pleased with Fiona's result as she came second in her class. :) Welshies was judged by Mrs. Kath Morgan, kennel Cwrt Afon. Tuuli got Vg in Open class. At the end of the day Brutus became the secret weapon for Maarit's and Niina's dress competition. Their idea were Neverland and Brutus was dressed as a Captain Hook. Very handsome Hook he was. :) Thank you again everyone for a lovely day and for Heidi who kept nice company for our long drive home. Annual International show in Hamina . Both breeds judged by Eeva Rautala, Finland. I had entered my welsh Tuuli - D. True Princess and Nancyn - Op. Eilidh Light who is in bikini fur at the moment. Also 2 more Op. dogs were entered with their owners; 10 month old Pablo - Op. Finn Mac Cumail was entered in his first official show and her mom Fiona - Op. Canaid Song.

Last CC for her Ch title was so close. :) Pablo had a lot of energy in the ring so his result was a way better than I expected from his behaving . :)) He was all over the ring (and the birds flying in the ring wasn't helping. ;). All breed show in Vyborg, Russia . Me and Sanna Ilves from Last Flurry's kennel started our Saturday very early and we drove to Vyborg, Russia. We had entered 5 springers and Tuuli-welsh into All Breed Show held in sunny, green field in center of Vyborg.

Tuuli - Dirlian True Princess was in diffrent ring than her English cousins and also her ring started at the same time as springer in other ring. I like to send big thanks you's again to Oona Salo who handled Tuuli very well into her nice result: Working class Exl1 Bb Rus CC and BOB! She was judged by Mr A Belkin from Russia. Mr Belkin took also Group 8.

English springers were judged by Mrs A. Filatova from Russia. There were also other springer from Finland entered beside mine. We had entered Brutus - Op. Baeddan Boar, Nancy - Op. Eilidh Light and Sanna's Alma - Last Flurry's All About Me and also Tequila - Tequila Sunrise vom S-C and Winston - T. Thrill Seeker who both made their first debyt in this show. Tequila and Winston were entered in baby puppy class 4 to 6 month. Today Brutus was able to add one more Ch title before his name as he is also now Russian Champion. Brutus result Champion Exl1 Bm Rus CC = Rus Ch BOS. Nancy was the winner of Junior class bitches with juniorCC and BOB-junior. Sanna's Alma went nicely Bob ja Group3. :) Both Tequila and Winston was performing very nicely. Winston was Bos - baby puppy and Tequila charmed our judge completely. Judge told me many times that she is just simply super bitch. Tequila went BOB - baby puppy and with the same judge she also went BEST IN SHOW- baby puppy from over 30 puppies!!

Breed and BISjunior competitions were judged by Lyubov Terentjeva, Russia and Tina Sulce, Latvia took GROUP 8. Brutus CH class EXL1 BM CC = EST CH andBOS. Sointu OPEN EXL1 BB2 CC. I flew to Germany last Monday to pick up Tequila - Tequila Sunrise vom Springer-Clan and Winston - Trimere Thrill Seeker is a little English boy that I brought home when came back from Crufts. :) Winston is co-owned with Helena and Sanna (Last Flurry's). I want to thank you Tanja Schewe (vom Springer-Clan) and Ann Corbet (Trimere) for trusting these two little promissing puppies to come and live with us in Finland.

Crufts 2008. We had planned trip to Crufts for quite a long time. Last Wednesday we flew into Birmingham and on Friday it was Gundogs. Over 160 English springers were judged by Mr. Colin Woodward. Best of Breed were very lovely young bitch Rosannoch Berkano JW. It was very interesting show and many nice dogs were presented. 2 days at Crufts and last days shopping, so Thank you Maarit, Lea and Niina for a great company. :)

Kerimäki show. We packed my car with 4 people and 4 dogs and we drove 3,5 hours to Kerimäki show. We had these dogs with us: Nancy - Op. Eilidh Light, Fiona - Op. Canaid Song our welsh Tuuli - D. True Princess and Sanna had her Alma - Last Flurry's All About Me. Nancy started her official classes very nicely with the result jun EXL1, BB2 CC. Nancy has just turned 9 month old. :) Fiona did well also with result work EXL2. Sanna's Alma were BB4. Our welsh was showed last and she sis best from our dogs with result EXL1 BB CC BOS. This was Tuuli's second CC. Thank you for the nice company Pirjo, Veera and Sanna. :)

Brutus is dad again. Miina - New Design's Have a Dream got 5 lovely puppies (4 boys and 1 princess) with our Brutus - Ch JC Op. Baeddan Boar. Congratulations Helena and Sanna in Last Flurry's kennel and ofcourse lots of hugs and dog bisquits to mommy Miina. :)

Kajaani Int show. Last fall Helena (Last Flurry's) asked if I want to join her and Sanna to Kajaani January Show (7 hour drive from us). Who ever said dog people are crazy was right. :)) We drove whole Saturday to Kajaani making stops and having a REALLY nice time. Thank you both let's do this again. ;) :D

Nancy - Op. Eilidh Light saved our day. :))) Nancy was entered last time in her puppy competitions. She is now 7,5 month old, (we hardly have any shows in Finland before she turns 9 month and starts official classes.) This time there were 3 puppies entered in her class. Nancy won puppies with Honor Price and Best of Breed puppy! This was her 5th BOB-puppy win. Lucy - Op. Damhnait Fawn got only VG3 this time.
